Journey to Sacred Valley

A hiking adventure into Bhutan’s spiritual center during the vibrant Tshechu season

~

EXPERIENCE THE ENDURING CULTURE OF BHUTAN at the colorful Jambay Lhakhang festival, performed on the foreground of one of the oldest temples in the kingdom. Then, wind down gently by foot along the  aquamarine Tangchu River in the fragrant mountains above the sacred Bumthang valley.

Afterward, in the ever popular western valleys, your journey culminates with a hike to the famed Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched 3,000 feet above the valley floor.

With visits to a string of exquisite temples and monasteries from west to central Bhutan, invigorating hikes complemented by the comforts of Bhutan's government approved lodges, plus a stay at the beautiful Dewachen Lodge in scenic Phobjikha, home to wintering Black Necked Cranes and the famed Gangtey Monastery, this is journey to remember long after the pictures have faded.
